MRM-Horizon Advisors, LLC Richard W. Silver Rick is the Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer of MRM-Horizon Advisors and responsible for all investment decisions. Rick is also a Managing Member of Mad River Management LLC, which he co-founded in 1991. Mad River has been investing in and managing multi-manager hedge funds for over fifteen years. Rick has worked in the investment business since 1983, having advised high net worth individuals and corporations at Smith Barney, Homans McGraw Trull Valeo & Co., Gruntal and Co., and HC Wainwright & Co. He is a registered representative with Delta Equity Services Corp and holds Series 63, 65 and 7 licenses, and is registered as an associated person with the National Futures Association. Rick has an MBA in finance from Northeastern University. Francis E. Remeika Frank is a solicitor with MRM-Horizon Advisors. He is also a Managing Member and co-founder of Mad River Management LLC. Frank has been an investor and manager in non-traditional investment strategies for over fifteen years. Frank has worked in the securities business since 1968, having been associated with Blyth Eastman Dillon, Bear Stearns & Co., Winthrop Securities, Homans McGraw Trull Valeo & Co., and HC Wainwright. He is a registered representative with Delta Equity Services Corp and holds Series 63 and 7 licenses, and is registered as an associated person with the National Futures Association. Frank is a graduate of Boston College.
Joshua M. Stewart Josh is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager with MRM-Horizon Advisors and is responsible for the firm’s daily operations, trading, and client services. Josh has worked in the investment management industry since 1997 at Mad River Management and Putnam Investments. He is a registered representative with Delta Equity Services Corp and currently holds series 6,7,63 & 65 securities licenses. He is a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in finance.
HORIZON ASSET MANAGEMENT, INC. MRM-Horizon Advisors has a sub-advisory relationship with Horizon Asset Management Inc., and its Chairman, Murray Stahl. Horizon employs 48 people in a research, advisory, administrative and executive capacity. Murray Stahl Murray is Co-founder, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Horizon Asset Management, Inc. Murray also leads the Horizon Research Division which publishes eight unique research products. Prior to forming Horizon Murray spent 16 years with Bankers Trust Company as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst. There he directed the assets of the bank’s Special Opportunity, Utility, and Tangible Asset Funds. |
